Only one real way to address attacks: Vote

After spending many years in the area of combating acts of racial and religious terrorism, I feel compelled to comment after the killings of worshipers at that synagogue in Pittsburgh (“Suspect in Pittsburgh synagogue slayings appears to have posted online hate for Jews on far-right site,” Oct. 27). I do know something. I know they are terrorizing and killing people based on race or religion.

It is being fueled by heretofore unheard of public comments by leaders who echo the dangerous un-American dog whistle rhetoric of the white nationalist. The way to stop this disgusting language from public officials is simply to vote. That is the only language many public officials understand.
