In reference to the recent article, “Tax credit may spark station project” (Dec. 1), here is what I want to see in a redeveloped Penn Station: light rail, metro and buses.

If we build up the surrounding area with hotels and apartments before we make Penn Station a functional transit hub, we will lose the opportunity forever.
