The Palestinian envoy urges the United Nations Security Council to investigate "war crimes" of Gaza Strip "massacre" during protests that erupted as the United States opened its embassy in Jerusalem.
Your editorial, "Embassy move has damaged peace process" (May 15), has me confounded. What "peace process?" I've never seen a scintilla of evidence that Palestinian leadership has any interest beyond pushing all Jews into the sea.
Palestinians have had hundreds of opportunities to improve their lot and even to have a capital in a portion of Jerusalem, but there's truth in the cliche that they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Meanwhile, can you explain why Israel should be the only nation that can't choose its capital, a place where its citizen forbears have a 3,000-year history?
