Sun gives one-sided take on Baltimore NAACP

I am a 30-year member of the Baltimore branch of the NAACP, and I am writing to address the outright lies and misleading statements in the recent article, “Stripped of power, Baltimore NAACP branch seeks a 'refresh,’” Aug. 20.

To present/write/cover only the negatives views of a select few, and not speak to others to garner the many positive things the branch achieved under the leadership of former president Tessa Hill-Aston is bad, biased, faulty, unprofessional and amateurish journalism at its worst.

I hope The Sun will provide us equal space to present the facts and the truth.
