Can any intelligent and unbiased person tell me what special counsel Robert Mueller III and his staff are up to? Besides wasting $50 million of taxpayers’ money on smoke screens and a witch hunt (“McCabe firing: Witness intimidation?” March 19).

It’s a group made up of 13 Democrats, six of whom contributed to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Do the Democrats think the American people are that stupid? After 14 months with not one shred of evidence, will this go on in perpetuity?

Attorney General Jeff Sessions should do his job and cut off all funding to the special counsel and stop this McCarthyism. Get rid of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Mr. Mueller for incompetence. Then he should appoint a new special counsel to go after facts, not fiction, by investigating Ms. Clinton, who destroyed email while under investigation on top of allowing a company that controls 20 percent of our uranium to be sold to Russia and who benefited from $150 million in kick backs to the Clinton Foundation while employed in a highly sensitive post in government.

Will she get away with all the crimes she committed which amount to more then Al Capone’s? You would think the newspapers would be all over this story.
