Having a monument in Baltimore City to honor Abel Wolman ("Honor the Great Chlorinator," Aug. 17), the pioneer of modern sanitary engineering, is an excellent suggestion. I would like to make two more suggestions: Frederick Douglass, a great orator, and Harriet Tubman for the Underground Railroad. Both spent time in Maryland and should be honored as great Americans, as well.
