Jordan McNair's life mattered. Therefore, I could hardly believe it when I read that only six of his teammates volunteered to speak with the consultant, who was hired to investigate what happened to McNair (“Death of Jordan McNair: Why did so few Maryland football players talk to investigator?” Oct. 8). Clearly it was because they had to sign up on a paper that was posted on the walls in the Gossett Football Team House and because Assistant Athletic Director Jason Baiden walked them to talk with the consultant! The consultant had the gall to say "I know how busy the student-athletes are." These arrogant people should be fired and all games cancelled for the rest of the year.
