It’s a sad day for the University of Maryland and the state of Maryland (“In reversal, Loh will remain University of Maryland president through June 2020,” Jan. 30). Another lost 18 months as College Park falls farther behind competitive universities.

The value of the University of Maryland degree will continue to decline as long as Wallace Loh is associated with the university. He lacks leadership capabilities and has exhibited his lack of honesty and integrity.
