Back in 1964 when I was doing public relations and assisting with the opening of the Baltimore Playboy Club at Pratt and Light streets, Ernie Imhoff taught me the difference between promoting and journalism (”Ernest F. ‘Ernie’ Imhoff, longtime editor recalled as ‘the heart and soul of The Evening Sun,’ dies,” Dec. 2).

I won’t forget his talents, high standards and kindness.
