I feel demoralized by your endorsement of Larry Hogan for governor (āSun endorsement: Hogan for Maryland governor,ā Oct. 24). You have failed to represent Baltimore City. Governor Hogan is not a friend to the city. He has turned his back on city needs including public safety and education. His ads are nonsense and myth. He takes credit for things he had little to nothing to do with.
Your choice is embarrassing and wrong. Itās past time for Maryland to elect a person of color as governor. For a paper that represents a city with 80-plus percent African American population, you should be leading that charge. I hope the readers of your paper ignore your recommendation. Itās not worth the paper itās printed on.
