It’s not often that I agree with The Sun, but doing something about the failing infrastructure in this country is important and an increased gas tax seems to be the only viable alternative (“U.S. can no longer afford a frozen gas tax,” Nov. 24).
The issue is the 535 incompetents in the U.S. Congress. They are only beholden to their own self-interests and self-importance — and their lobbyists. They could care less about the people (except when they want our votes). No way they care to do anything constructive to help the U.S.
