Fox News isn't 'state run,' it's just factual

Think standards have fallen for prime-time cable news hosts? They have, and the Sean Hannity-Michael Cohen story shows how. (Ulysses Muñoz / Baltimore Sun video)

David Zurawik stated in his recent tirade that it is popular in some circles to refer to Fox News as “state-run TV” (“Trump propaganda is even worse than you think on Fox News these nights,” May 16). Of course, we know that the "some circles" he is speaking of are the liberal press, including the liberal TV networks such as CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS and ABC, which includes Mr. Zurawik himself along with all the "we can't stand the truth" Democrats.

Fox News is neither state-owned nor sponsored and is dedicated to truth and integrity. Mr. Zurawik, in his quite lengthy article, never said even once that the Fox News hosts that he was complaining about weren't telling the truth. It's just the fact that they were telling the truth so effectively with all their professional illustrations and really nailing and uncovering the sabotage that the liberals are so bent on. Mr Zurawik could not find any fault with the messages so he attacked the messengers.

Liberals are intent on destroying Donald Trump’s presidency, even if it destroys our country. They resort to deliberate lying, as illustrated in the recent MS-13 issue. About all of the liberal outlets deliberately strayed away from the truth when he called gang members “animals” in order to try to discredit President Trump. Instead, they just exposed themselves as purveyors of lies.

Let's get factual. Look up the definition of a human in the dictionary and you will find that a human is a member of the animal kingdom. Mr. Trump is an animal. You, the reader of this letter, is an animal. I, the writer of this, am an animal, too. So when Mr. Trump called MS-13 gang members animals (which they deserved), in reality he was stating a truth. MS-13 members are animals that kill, rape and pillage. Most Americans do not agree with their actions but still we are in the same kingdom as they are. We are all animals.
