Could it be that the driver was just being a jerk?

Baltimore officer bodycam video of Marvin McKenstry Jr., the chair of the Community Oversight Task Force, being given several ticket violations by Sergeant Terrance McGowan in a stop that was nearly an hour long.

The Baltimore Sun editorial provided an interesting spin on the confrontation between police and Marvin McKenstry of the Community Oversight Task Force as a disconnect between police and residents ("A 'teachable moment' in a Baltimore traffic stop, but what's the lesson?" May 7).

Are you possibly reading too much into this? Couldn't it just be as simple as Mr. McKenstry being a monumental jerk? The "teachable moment" must be that the police would actually allow this guy to pop off for nearly an hour.
