It appears the priorities of Mayor Catherine Pugh and others in Baltimore need some serious rethinking. Seems that they are willing to spend $17 million to fix the “dingy and cracked” marble on City Hall but cannot find enough money to install air conditioners in the public schools (“Its stonework deteriorating, Baltimore’s historic City Hall to undergo $17 million restoration,” Oct. 1).
Which is really more important, a clean and bright City Hall or a positive school learning environment?
