Shop 'small' to celebrate small business

I’d like to encourage my fellow Catonsville residents to “shop small” on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25 – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities.

Small Business Saturday has been celebrated annually since 2010 on the day after Black Friday. The small businesses that make up downtown Catonsville are a large part of what gives our home town so much character. They add to our quality of life and stir fond memories among those who move on to other parts.

It’s up to all of us to help preserve that special Catonsville charm for generations to come. Remember that every day -- but particularly on Small Business Saturday.
