Catholic Church should allow clergy to marry

Baltimore Archbishop William E. Lori, in his article on November 12, never even mentions what to most Catholics is absolutely obvious (“Baltimore archbishop outlines path toward reform and renewal in the Catholic Church,” Nov. 9). The Catholic Church needs to allow married clergy. Serious recruitment would surely attract much-needed priests and eliminate this scandalous environment of sexual frustration.
