Hogan's got the Sen. Brochin seal of approval

Gov. Larry Hogan on Thursday issued a call for developers interested in taking over the State Center project in West Baltimore, seeking to advance a project that has long been mired in delays and lawsuits. (Jay Reed / Baltimore Sun video)

The state of Maryland should remain hopeful that not only Comptroller Peter Franchot, a Democrat, has continued his strong support of Republican Gov. Larry Hogan but now, Democratic state Sen. Jim Brochin has endorsed Governor Hogan for a second term (“Hogan, Jealous unveil dueling endorsements in battleground Baltimore County,” Aug. 8). One-sided politics must scoot over! Look out, Maryland, we have some dedicated individuals who will be looking at a fierce commitment to education, communities, businesses and our environment.

Bipartisanship is not just being mumbled, but now it has action. I am grateful for this effort.
