Border wall a necessity - just like fences

Once again, the editorial board of The Baltimore Sun has voiced its opposition to a border wall (“Wall isn’t a lifesaver, it’s a boondoggle,” Nov. 20).

I wonder if these same people realize how hypocritical it makes them look given that The Sun has a fence around its parking lot and a gate restricting access. I have not visited the building, but I will bet they have locks on their doors and security of some sort in their lobby to screen those who enter.

Why not just let anyone from the “outside” have unrestricted access to the Sun's grounds and facilities without permission or let anyone park in their lots? What is The Sun afraid of?

Of course, the answer is obvious.

Some may think apples and oranges here, but our country has a right to take measures to “control” those who enter just like The Sun does.
