How about a study of wasteful government studies? | READER COMMENTARY

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge, as viewed from Kent Island, Saturday, January 23, 2021. (Paul W. Gillespie/Capital Gazette). (Paul W. Gillespie/Capital Gazette)

It seems that with that every new administration in Annapolis, a study is commissioned to consider a third Chesapeake Bay Bridge crossing (”Bay Bridge crossing study delayed indefinitely due to COVID-19,” Jan. 24).

Has a study been commissioned to determine how much money has been spent over the years on these seemingly nonproductive studies? Govs. Parris Glendening, Robert Ehrlich Jr., Martin O’Malley and now Larry Hogan have all done studies. They have spent enough money studying to have built two additional crossings already.
