Good riddance, Amazon

I was relieved to read of Amazon's decision not to locate it's headquarters in Baltimore ("City off final list for Amazon," Jan. 19). Now the city can stop prostituting itself to a company dedicated to squeezing employees to the max.

Amazon slashed it's temporary seasonal work to part-time hours with nary a whimper of protest from city officials, much less non-existent labor unions. That's Jeff Bezos’ way of saying, "Merry Christmas." Baltimore workers deserve better.
