Amazon will skip Baltimore — thanks to the Democrats

The editorial on Baltimore's Port Covington being the ideal location for Amazon's HQ2 left out the very real and deserved perception that Baltimore is a dangerous and crime-ridden town ("Port Covington is the right fit for Amazon's HQ2," Sept. 8).

This perception, which is, again, much deserved, will keep Amazon and any other company from setting up shop in Baltimore.

The Democratic administrations of the past 50 years are to blame for our city's dismal condition and public perception. This is what the Democrats do to every city they run, so don't worry about Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland or any other of the Democratic disaster cities bringing home the this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
