Zurawik hits below the belt in Ravens telecast critique

It was no surprise to read that David Zurawik did not like the CBS coverage of Sunday's Ravens game ("Greg Gumbel, Trent Green make Ravens' loss all the more painful to watch," Oct. 26). His columns are predictable rants.

What is surprising is that The Sun allows him to include name calling in his columns. He refers to a sportscaster (and fellow professional) as "a pompous gasbag" and "the senior gasbag." Is this what passes for responsible criticism at The Sun?

It would be nice if The Sun would exercise some judgment in assignments. How many times do you send the same critic to see a play that he doesn't like? Perhaps you could also show some editorial oversight of Mr. Zurawik.
