Columnist Dan Rodricks nailed the issue of the rain tax that Republicans rode victory in last year's statewide elections ("End 'rain tax' ridicule rap, repeal and replace law," Feb. 28).
Instead of "repeal and replace the rain tax" how about repeal and replace the lying politicians?
First on the agenda: the bombastic Del. Pat McDonough. You can ride around the east side of Baltimore County and still see his campaign signs with the words "stop the rain tax" littering the landscape. I guess he is too lazy to take them down.
Or maybe it would be best to leave them up as a perpetual testimony to his ignorance.
