Kaepernick is washed up

Ravens' Head Coach John Harbaugh talks about San Francisco 49ers' quaterback Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit during the national anthem. (Jeff Zrebiec/Baltimore Sun video)

Yes, Colin Kaepernick has every right to convey his thoughts and actions on how this country is treating minorities and specifically blacks ("Colin Kaepernick: the ultimate patriot," Sept. 6). But the method and place he chose shows he is another washed-out athlete with his career spiraling downward who seeks continued attention.

I wonder where the protest actions were when he was on top of his game and had the attention.
