Putin's actions 'outrageous'

President Barack Obama's recently observed that John Brennan of the CIA, James Comey of the FBI and James Clapper, former head of national intelligence, all concur unequivocally that Vladimir Putin directed his cyber people to hack the Democratic National Committee's computers in September 2016 in order to interfere with and influence the results of the 2016 U.S. presidential election ("McConnell rejects calls for select panel on Russian meddling," Dec. 20).

This direct interference in our country's critical affairs by the president of a foreign country is not acceptable. As an American citizen, I vehemently object to Mr. Putin's outrageous interference in our democratic affairs.
