A plague of protests

Wednesday's articles about the traffic snarl created by protesters and the city's $20 million loss from the riots were both big news, but no one seems to have tied them together, especially the Rev. Jamal H. Bryant ("Youth jail protest jams Baltimore traffic, sparks debate,http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/bs-md-ci-gridlock-20150526-story.html May 26; "Unrest will cost city $20 million, officials estimate," May 26).

The $20 million cost of the rioting in Baltimore City was more than the $11 million for city schools Mr. Bryant's protest aimed to get.

And nowhere does Mr. Bryant state what the $11 million would be used for.

I wonder what the cost was for the first of his "10 biblical plagues"?
