The only conceivable explanation for your editorial on President Obama's recent Asia trip is that it was an attempt to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse ("A question of temperament," Sept. 6).
The Chinese disrespected the U.S. president, the president of the Philippines disrespected him, North Korea disrespects him — but who don't they disrespect? — and Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to tear holes in Mr. Obama's and Hillary Clinton's "reset" of relations with Moscow.
Yet somehow The Sun manages to turn all this into a positive for Mr. Obama — while punching Donald Trump in the gut.
