You recently reported that the police vans in Baltimore and in many surrounding counties still do not have proper padding and restraints ("Most police vans in Baltimore region lack seat belts," May 10). What you did not report is when these police departments will correct this gross injustice, an injustice that needs daily reporting on until the situation is corrected.
By the way, this is something The Sun should have reported on in 2004-2005 with the first major lawsuits ($46.4 million) involving police conduct and their vans. Shame on you!
