I was glad to see the article, "In the shoes of cops" (Sept. 30). We must not focus only on the "bad cop" but always remember that most of officers are decent people who work hard to protect us.
Ask yourself: "Would I want to be married to a cop, or be the child of one?" "You couldn't pay me enough," is my answer — which brings me to another point: their inadequate salaries.
