What about murders?

Baltimore Police detectives arrested Zannay Laws, 18, and Dakei Perry, 18, for the stabbing and armed robbery of a 64 year-old man in the 2900 block of Charles Street. Both are being charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Armed robbery and Theft.

In the past several days, The Sun has published numerous articles on alleged police misconduct. These stories seem take up the majority of the leading headlines. However, there was just one line in an article on a Baltimore killing involving a chef stating that there had been 37 murders in just 30 days in Baltimore alone ("Baltimore chef killed during robbery, despite putting his hands up," Sept. 21).

Where is the outrage by the various city organizations and city leaders over these numbers? Why isn't this story making front page headline news? I guess it's not newsworthy enough, but alleged cases of police misconduct are. They must sell more newspapers. Murders in Baltimore are old news and seems nobody cares. What a shame.
