Time to get tough on poachers

Since I am a strong believer in punishing lawbreakers, one solution to the problem of poachers in the Chesapeake Bay, be it harvesting rockfish, oysters, crabs, or other seafood, is to confiscate any means of transportation the poachers use in getting from their homes to the point of poaching.

If that means that they lose their truck or boat, so be it. Of course, that also means confiscating all the fishing or crabbing or oyster harvesting gear, legal or illegal, they may have on their person or vehicles.
