Letter write Colleen Carrigan states Tony Solesky's son teased, tormented or threw rocks at the pit bull that attacked him, but that isn't true ("Anti-pit bull hysteria must end," Nov. 21). He wasn't even aware the pit bulls were there until he heard that his friend had already been attacked. Dominic Solesky was attempting to save his friend when he was bitten.
Please do not allow the false suggestion that the 10-year-old victim was abusing the pit bull go uncontested.
