American Pharoah won the Triple Crown of thoroughbred racing and broke a decades-long drought, but so what? It's not like anyone will ever see him race again ("American Pharoah wins Triple Crown, ends 37-year drought," June 6).
He'll be quickly put out to stud, would-be fans will have no horse in particular to root for in future races and the racing industry will continue to scratch its clueless head wondering why the vast majority of people watch only three horse races a year.
