Commentator Richard E. Vatz says that Sen. Rand Paul is unfit to lead the country because of his "personality problem" ("Rand Paul's personality predicament," June 10).
I wonder when The Sun will run a similar article about its darling, Hillary Clinton, who has more than a few of those herself?
She of the "vast right wing conspiracies" when her husband was under fire for (proven) misconduct and as the secretary of state (appointed as a consolation prize, not because of knowledge or ability) who conducted the business of this nation across unsecured email lines because it was "more convenient?"
I grow tired of opening the op-ed page of your paper and seeing her picture — really, we all know who she is.
So how about a little bit of critical assessment in your paper's undying, fawning support? After all, you supported the current president — and we've all see how spectacularly poorly he's performed — so perhaps you really don't have a good grasp on what it takes to run this nation.
Let's have a bit of critical assessment of The Sun's usual dyed-in-the-wool Democratic leanings. Do some evenhanded assessments of the other candidate irrespective of party affiliation and inform your readers who is running and what they stand for.
Then perhaps come election time folks might make some intelligent choices.
