The high cost of baseball

The Orioles are in a playoff hunt, but attendance to Camden Yards has been low. We talk with Oriole fans about why so many seats are empty. (Baltimore Sun video)

Now, it seems to be all about the individual player and being sure he earns his mega-salary. But one glaring point was omitted. What I really miss is the days when we could walk to Memorial Stadium on the spur of the moment and buy a ticket for under $10. The cost is prohibitive now for most working families and one game a year may cost upward of $300 for the "cheap" seats for a family of four.
