Will Rodricks open his house to the poor?

In response to Dan Rodricks' proposal that our legislators support the leftist "Moving to Opportunity" agenda where the poor are moved to better neighborhoods through rent-subsidy vouchers, I have a better idea ("Time for leaders to do right thing for Baltimore's poorest kids," May 23).

Why doesn't he move to West Baltimore or one of the other "decrepit" (his word) inner city housing developments and provide that population with his wisdom and knowledge, maybe becoming a role model there? Another suggestion would be for him to rent out space in his own house for a family that is currently "struggling" in one of Baltimore's poorest neighborhoods.

If Mr. Rodricks really wants to break up the poverty then he should go first and put his money where his mouth is.
