Just a couple points about former Gov. Martin O'Malley's announcement Sunday that he is running for the Democratic nomination for president ("Facing long odds, O'Malley enters race for president," May 30):
Mr. O'Malley says he is running as a progressive, but wasn't he a progressive when he was governor of Maryland? And didn't he and his administration raise taxes and fees 40 times?
