How dare The Sun editorial board declare that Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. failed when it came to governance! ("Time to open up," July 22). Says who? That statement would be laughable if it weren't so blatantly false. Of course, if The Sun's definition of failure is failing to gouge Maryland taxpayers with over 40 new fees and tax increases, as Gov. Martin O'Malley has done over the past 6-1/2 years, then The Sun just may be correct. Somehow, I don't think so.
