Obamacare and the 20-somethings

My concern about Obamacare ("The cost of Obamacare," July 30) is what I consider the unrealistic assumptions that otherwise healthy young people will purchase insurance in the numbers required for this program to work effectively.

If I were in such a category, and spending less than $1,000 annually on medical care, why should I purchase insurance for, say, $125 per month that carries a deductible of $3,000 when I can sign up when and if I get sick? There may well be reasons to do it, but emphasizing low premiums alone will not cut it.
