Ehrlich too negative, too partisan

Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.'s cocky and aggressive partisanship make it evident why he couldn't govern effectively in Annapolis and was not re-elected for a second term ("Why Obama is viewed as weak," Nov. 30).

True leaders today would be trying to bring people together and finding common ground to get things done instead of fanning the flames of suspicion and distrust like Rush Limbaugh and further polarizing our country. Folks are sick of this negative stuff, which is why Anthony Brown's campaign rhetoric kept Democratic voters at home.
