I was incredulous to read that the Maryland Transit Administration has again denied The Sun's request for video from the Mondawmin Metro station on the day of the riots because of national security concerns ("MTA now says release of Mondawmin unrest footage would facilitate 'terrorist attack,'" May 28).
That is unbelievable obfuscation and obstructionism. Anyone can walk the area with a cell phone camera and map it. This strongly suggests the MTA is hiding something — and it isn't the layout of the transport hub.
Do MTA officials really expect the public to believe them?
