I read your report about disabled customers' lawsuits against the Maryland Transit Authority and just wanted to say I agree with them ("MTA sued by riders with disabilities over paratransit access, reliability," Jan. 21).

I am a customer and the MTA does not care about us as people; in fact, it doesn't care about anyone, neither the drivers nor the people on the phone.

I didn't know people can be so soulless, but I'm pretty sure that the people in this agency are. They do not care if you have to be on time to work or school, or when you want to get home.

They have absolutely no respect for other people, and they will yell if you stand up to them when they treat you badly.

I am hoping things can change and that somebody out there in Baltimore really cares about the well-being of people with disabilities. We are people too, not just a body in a wheel chair or with a cane.
