There was an election. Did Mike Miller notice?

It bewilders me how Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller likes to ignore the fact that his candidate lost the election for governor. The voters in this state want lower taxes, not the same old wasteful spending like there is no bottom that has been going on for years under the Democrats. They have proved that they cannot govern Maryland effectively time and again. Certainly there are some of Gov. Larry Hogan's proposals that should be given consideration ("Miller rules out proposed Hogan tax cuts this year," Feb. 13). But I doubt that Mr. Miller and House Speaker Michael E. Busch are willing to bend for the good of the tax-burdened of Maryland.
