The article concerning the Defense Department employees racking up big tabs at various gambling and club venues makes one's blood boil ("Report: Defense employees ring up $1 million tab at casinos, clubs," May 20). What are the punishments for these bums?
Lax oversight is blamed for this, and if that is the case, those who were in charge should pony up the lost funds and then lose their jobs, as should the abusers.
