Politicians, the clergy, activists and the news media, all seem to be heavily focused on the Baltimore Police Department when they should be focused on the lives being taken every day in the city ("Dispirited police," May 12).
Come on, protesters, get out there and protest the real problem — black-on-black crime and black-on-black killings every day. It's as if it's ignored and swept under the rug. I don't condone the killing of Freddie Gray, but the killings in the city every day are only occasionally mentioned.
I am reminded of an old ad: Where's the beef? Where's the leadership?
