Most agree that Iran deal looks bad

I believe that The Sun should be focusing on what Secretary of State John Kerry and President Barack Obama have accomplished with their ongoing negotiations with Iran over its nuclear weapons ambitions ("Netanyahu's pointless speech," March 3).

While for years most Americans have believed it was impossible, Secretary Kerry has gotten the Israelis, the Saudis, Egyptians, Jordanians and the people of Oman to agree on a central problem in the Middle East — the need to permanently prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons and the fact that the current proposal he's negotiating won't achieve it.

If all of our long term allies in the area, who have never agreed on anything, agree that the current proposal is a bad deal, maybe Secretary Kerry should reevaluate how important it is.
