Pence has explaining to do

Pence's denial of rights to gays in Indiana puts him on the defensive

In The Sun article, "At tonight's debate, the No. 2's stand in for the No. 1's" (Oct. 4), it was stated that defensive positions would have to be established by Sen. Tim Kaine for "defending suspected criminals" and Gov. Mike Pence for signing a law "allowing businesses to refuse service to gay people."

Wait a minute, one is protecting a Constitutional right and the other is denying it. There is only one person who needs to establish a defensible position, and that is Mr. Pence. Senator Kaine's actions have all ready been established and approved by the founding fathers at Philadelphia in the 18th century!
