Comedy or tragedy, what is this ("No disclosure, no justice," June 5)? The obviously "over her head" Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby adds yet another act to this unfolding comedy of errors! Now, she wants to "secret" evidence from the light of day, restricting access only to the prosecutors and defense counsel. Her reason is "to avoid trying the case via the media." This is hilarious! Does she really believe that the case has not already been tried in the media? If that is the case, then she quite obviously does not belong in that job!
This real tragedy is taking on comedic stature, a real comedy of errors! How can anyone stand and say with a straight face that there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for her to recuse herself? She is so intertwined in this case, she may as well be directly related to the deceased. A change of venue and recusal by the state's attorney are dictated for the proper administration, at least in an unbiased way, of justice. It seems that her real quest is for revenge. And the fact that perception even surfaces is indication that those changes are demanded if justice rather than revenge is to be the outcome!
But wait a minute here. If a judge honors her request to keep hidden from the sanitizing light of day important evidence in this case, that judge will be just another "clown" added to this evolving three ring presentation. Can't wait to see that one! Isn't the public also entitled to know what happened?
I can hardly wait, in anticipation of the next "antic" that this prosecutor produces for the main event — the middle circle if you please. She's making it very tough on herself, she is her own tough act to follow!
