Iran poised for a lopsided victory

Now that the Iranian leaders have been able to best the negotiating team from the P5-1 consortium of nations with little concessions on the part of Iran while almost all of the Iranian demands have been met, their leaders have continued to demonize the United States. With now unlimited funds and the ability to buy state-of-the-art military equipment from Russia and China and only a very limited inspection of their nuclear facilities and none of the military installations, they have won an unbelievable victory. This has been compounded by a recent announcement that the IAEA, the inspection monitor, will run out of funds in September.

Considering the enhancement of Iran's military, economic and terrorist activities, the Iran deal has now been shown to be a farce. For those who vote for it in Congress ("Iran wants a high-tech value meal, hold the fries," Aug. 25), it will demonstrate the political clout of the president. For those who vote against, it demonstrates that principle still rules.
