Obama's bad deal with Iran

While commentator Joshua S. Block presents an acceptable version of a nuclear pact with Iran that would insure Tehran won't attain a nuclear weapon, President Obama unfortunately has neither the will nor desire to strengthen the terms of the proposed agreement to prevent Iran from reaching that goal ("The only good nuclear deal with Iran," June 25).

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has spelled out the terms for an agreement that would render Iran permanently on the brink of producing a nuclear bomb without allowing any inspections of its nuclear facilities by international monitors.

The continuing concessions on the part of the administration, coupled with the current relaxations of economic sanctions, renders the negotiations a farce. We are in effect funding a terrorist regime that will not only dominate the Middle East but threaten the safety of our own nation over the long run.
